Data types and column properties

After entering some data into the spreadsheet, each column has to be classified to one of the 4 types of data

• Data - column will contain numerical information. This is the default column type
• Type - a column of this type contains information by which the data can be further classified (type of material, day, colour, etc..). It can contain numeric or symbolic information.
• Defect - Usually contain only integer values, specifying number of Defects. Use with some statistical data analysis tools.
• Model - this column will contain a model, that will be used for Contour plots, Optimization, Robust design or spreadsheet calculations

To specify the column property, right click a cell and choose 'Column properties', or press F5
